Free Business Interactive Talk
An interactive talk and discussion “Making the most of opportunities” delivered by ‘Engineering Business Growth’, helping businesses think about how they can identify, create, manage and maximise on local opportunities. This event is delivered by Engineering Business Growth in partnership with Battersea Park Businesses.
How can businesses make the most of opportunities presented by local development and what are the potential benefits in Battersea? The Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station developments represent the most significant opportunity areas in North Battersea. In addition to the extension of the Northern line, this is expected to bring a major surge in the number of new residents, employees and visitors to the area.
In partnership with Battersea Park Businesses, Engineering Business Growth are hosting an interactive talk and discussion at the Battersea Power Station on 3rd October, exploring the methods and approaches that can help businesses to thrive in the context of a rapidly shifting socio-economic environment. The event will be a presentation and discussion format, also exploring experiences and ideas directly from local businesses. Discussion will be followed by networking.
BPB Take Part In The Great British Spring Clean 2018
On Wednesday 24th March 2018, BPB took part in the national Great British Spring Clean event, an initiative that forms part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign that aims to get local groups outdoors to help clear rubbish in their communities.
With help from Wandsworth Council in providing equipment for the day, a team of volunteers from businesses across the area made a big impact in clearing rubbish-littered areas around Havelock Terrace, Ingate Place and Silverthorne Road.
Robert Medlicott, Site Manager at Go Ape in Battersea Park and one of the key organisations to back the event said:
“At GoApe one of our core values is to be socially and environmentally responsible, as we move in to the urban jungle we feel it is important that we are true to this and are always keen to get involved in these local projects”.
