British luxury furniture, film and photography
Carmen Constantine – an Award-winning Nine Elms based luxury brand who design and manufacture eco-friendly innovative furniture cabinetry and a bespoke scented candle and diffuser collections. Battersea is one of the largest regeneration spots in Europe. So, our multi-sensory curated showcase of furniture, lm, photography, scent and touch for the London Design Festival were ideally situated for design professionals, property developers and locals to experience exceptional craftsmanship in a unique way. During the London Design Festival 2018, the Carmen Constantine (CC) journey displayed the intricate detail and craftsmanship that goes into making their bespoke hand-crafted cabinets at the Battersea Power Station in Partnership With The Battersea Power Station Development Company. The iconic Grade II* listed building and surrounding area is being revived as one of the most exciting and innovative multifaceted neighbourhoods in the world. Our feedback after the event showed us that our bespoke furniture showcase demonstrated the cabinet manufacturing process and the product association in a truly inimitable backdrop of a lively, modern, diverse environment. We were honoured that our diverse attendees agreed that the prime riverside setting was a well-placed and idyllic marriage between the residential developments of Nine Elms London and our timeless, handcrafted furniture to coexist, as well as the perfect spot for families and professionals alike to enjoy the latest in interactive and iconic design and craftsmanship. Eccotrading design has been based in Battersea for the last 15 years. We love the locality which is still a slightly hidden area between Chelsea and Clapham. It’s developing into the new must go to the location and forming a new identity for the Southbank.
The mix of residential and business premises still gives a sense of life and purpose with many a hidden gem to be discovered. Whether a new restaurant, great bar, or a fantastic supplier of furniture or art, it’s all waiting to be uncovered.
We have just moved into new showrooms at Stewarts Road after 15 years on Queenstown Road we couldn’t think of a better area to stay in and having new clients discover us daily!

Improvements on Battersea Short Cut
Improvements on a popular but previously dimly-lit pedestrian and cycling short-cut near Battersea Park is almost finished.
The walkway underneath the railway arches has been given a £30,000 facelift. The underpass is used by many people in Ravent Street and links Queenstown Road to the Doddington and Rollo Estates.
Although convenient and well-used, some residents have said they would feel safer with better lighting and as a result plans were drawn up earlier this year for a £30,000 refurbishment of this key pedestrian route, and this work is now well underway. Full article here.
